10 June 2009 - Dr. Tillman Briggs Council #4597 made a donation of $100,000 to assist in the Christ the King Church expansion project. This major contribution was made possible through the efforts of many knights over many years, as it is provided from the Council's general funds earned through projects such as the Mobile Food Booth, breakfast and dinner fund-raisers, and other sales. Grand Knight Rodger Burton (right), with Financial Secretary Murray Wilson (left) and Treasurer Leif-Erik Wadelius looking on, presented the cheque to Pastor and Council Chaplain Fr. Paul Murphy. The church expansion project, which will provide a new hall, offices and classrooms will benefit our Council and other parishioners for many years into the future. |

25 December 2008 - Brothers Jim Landry and Leo Gardner were co-artisans who produced the layout, cutting, stenciling, and construction of this beautiful nativity scene for Christ the King parish. Several highly talented parishioners also contributed their time and artistic ability to paint the figures. The result was this splendid addition to the parish's Christmas decorations. |

Many members of
our Dr. Tillman Briggs Council #4597 gathered for an official
photograph to be published in the 50th Anniversary celebration
History Book. Decent weather resulted in a good turnout
for Bro. Barry Beardon to capture the faces for posterity. |
