Mobile Food Booth
Clean-Up & Renovation
| After 14 years of operating the Council's Mobile Food Booth (MFB), a major overhaul and cleanup was required. In September 2011, several Brother Knights, under the direction of Bro. John LeRoss, almost completely gutted the MFB in order to clean, patch, and paint walls and the ceiling, repair items, and replace some worn equipment (new freezer and sink faucets installed). This was a huge chore, but thanks to those Brothers, the job was completed; the fresh appearance and condition will be welcomed by all when the MFB opens again in the new event season. This project page was created so that ALL of our members could see the work that is required "behind the scenes" to operate this valuable fund-raising asset. The Council thanks the clean-up team that volunteered their time and expertise to this internal project; namely, Brothers John LeRoss, Rollie Tassé, Phil Riley, Jim Landry, Leo Gardner, Helmut Schuld, Bud Faubert, and Arnold Lamb. The pictures below provide a record of some of the work as it progressed and some after-photos.
